President John Mahama is expected to begin his campaign for a second term in office with a tour of the Western Region.
President Mahama will be in Cape Coast today to attend the launch of the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) 2016 campaign where it is expected that the party will officially present him and Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur as presidential candidate and running mate and also present parliamentary candidates for all 275 constituencies and the campaign team for the 2016 general elections to the electorate.
Reports suggest that, President Mahama will immediately after the campaign launch to the Western Region where he will visit 16 constituencies.
The 16 constituencies, according to GBC are:
1. Amenfi Central
2. Amenfi East
3. Prestea Huni Valley
4. Tarkwa
5. Evalue Ajomolo Gwira
6. Ellembele
7. Jomoro
8. Ahanta West
9. Takoradi
10. Effia
11. Mpohor
12. Kwasimintsim
13. Esikado Ketan
14. Shama
15. Wassa East
16. Sekondi.
President John Dramani Mahama will have his final rally before returning to Accra.
