See the 10 aspirants who have picked NPP Presidential forms

The race to be elected the new flagbearer of the NPP for the 2024 election is getting hotter.

As of the time of filling this report, 10 aspirants have picked nomination forms to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary in November.

Former Campaign manager and policy advisor, Boakye Agyarko was the first to pick up forms when nominations opened on May 26.

Afterward, the likes of Kofi Addae Nimo, former Energy Minister, former General Secretary of the NPP, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, former Agric Minister Dr Afriyie Akoto, Frsncis Addai-Nimoh picked their nomination forms to signal their readiness for the contest.

Others include Vice-President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,  businessman and energy expert Kojo Nsafoah Poku former Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and  former Railways and Development minister Joe Ghartey.

Nominations are to close on June 24. 2023.

The NPP will hold the presidential primary on November 4.

Before then the party will hold a special conference on August 26, 2023 if the aspirants are more than five. That special conference will reduce the number to a minimum of five
