The Vice-chairperson of the GFA Normalization Committee Mrs. Lucy Quist has heaped praises on the Black Queens for their performance at the ongoing African Women's Championship despite the disappointing exit.
The Black Queens were painfully booted out of the tournament after the draw against Cameroon at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday. Mali defeated Algeria 3-2 to qualify to the next phase of the tournament ahead of Ghana.
Cameroon topped the group with seven points followed by Mali with six with Ghana and Algeria placed third and fourth with three and zero points respectively.

Despite the exit, Lucy Quist praised the Queens for their service and advised them to learn lessons for a better performance next time.
