Naa Odofoley Nortey a member of the outgone Normalisation Committee has described as amusing and disrespectful some allegations which were levelled against her and the committee.

According to the lawyer,  the monthly allowance she got from FIFA in helping to reform Ghana football cannot be compared to what she lost in her services to the nation.

She further refuted media reports that she is interested in the GFA’s General Secretary post.

“Again I don’t mean to sound funny but 4000 dollars, that’s one Gucci bag. I don’t know the kind of people and how much they earn but in my 16 years of practice, 4000 dollars is a quarter of a basic divorce you do. I’m sorry but its nothing”.

“It was annoying and I feel sorry for them. They think 4000 dollars is what I would charge. I probably need to get my office to quantify what I have lost in terms of fees in this one year. I can assure you that 4000 dollars is chicken change”, she told Ghanaweb.

Meanwhile, Naa Odofoley has called on the football fraternity to exercise patients with new GFA boss Kurt Okraku and his Executives.

“Be patients with the President and his Executives. Give them about three months as honeymoon period and stop lambasting them, it is not good.”

“I’m confident they will deliver,'' she told Sikka FM.

The NC was instituted by FIFA following the ban placed on former GFA capo Kwesi Nyantakyi from all football-related activities.

Their mandate was to - To run the GFA’s daily affairs, to review the GFA statutes to ensure compliance with the requirements of FIFA and CAF, particularly art. 15 of the FIFA Statutes, and to organise and conduct elections.

The NC 13 months stay came to an end following the election of the new GFA boss in Kurt Okraku last month.
