Seven Hearts of Oak fans are to appear before the High Court today September 4, 2018, for breaking some seats at the Green Stands at the Baba Yara Stadium when Hearts of Oak met with Kotoko over the weekend.

The fans were caught after breaking the seats at the scoreboard area when the referee ignored a penalty call which eventually resulted in the opener for Asante Kotoko.

The total number of seat destroyed by the agitated fans 275 which has been confirmed by the National Sports Authority in Kumasi with each seat costing an amount of GHC 110.00.


The seven fans still remain in police custody as they have been refused bail to be arraigned before the High Court tomorrow.

Hearts of Oak lost by 2-0 to Asante Kotoko and 4-0 on aggregate to lift the Super 2 clash.
