Partey fails to 'Party' hard

Seen as the star, much was expected from the Atletico Madrid ace but he couldn't stamp his authority on the game. He will have to come to the "Party" against Cameroon on Saturday.

Kwesi Appiah yet to win an opening match at AFCON

In AFCON 2013 with Kwesi Appiah at the helm of affairs, Ghana's opening match against DR Congo ended 2-2 and the 32nd edition of AFCON 2019 Group F opener against Benin also ended by the same scoreline.

Ayew brothers silence critics

The Ayew brothers have always divided opinions in the country. Leading up to the 2019 AFCON Ghanaians were calling for Kwesi Appiah to be bold and dropped the duo because their statistics for the 2018/2019 season was not that impressive.

In turn, Andre was rather named as the skipper of the Black Stars and on Tuesday night the Ayew brothers salvage a draw for Ghana with their strikes.

Boye cost Ghana maximum points

The Metz defender coming back on after his impressive season was expected to lead the back line with his acquired experience in the national team but he was sent off for two bookable offences which in turn forced the coach to make a substitution and played the majority of the second half with a man down.

Kwesi Appiah needs leaders at the back line

Kwesi Appiah needs to patch up the Black Stars leaky defence after conceding two avoidable goals. The defence was exposed for the first goal and there wasn't any organising with regards to the second.
