Ivory Coast had to come from behind to wallop Zambia 4-1 in a pre-AFCON friendly played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Fashion Sakala put the Copper Bullets ahead from the penalty spot in the 14th minute but Jonathan Kodjia equalised on the half hour mark the Elephants.
Fulham attacker Jean Seri increased the tally for Ivory Coast 2-1 three minutes before half time. Maxwell Cornet and substitute Wilfried Bony scored to cement the victory for the Elephants.
The win serves as a morale booster for coach Ibrahim Kamara and his charges as they prepare for AFCON 2019 following their 1-0 loss against Uganda on Saturday, June 15, 2019.
