Ghana international Andre Ayew put up a scintillating performance to help Fenerbahce beat Anderlecht 2-0 on Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League.
Ayew helped the Turkish giants beat the Belgian side, Anderlecht at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium.

Mathieu Valbuena scored the opener in the second half, 19 minutes away from time as the French midfielder's cross ended up inside the right post following Andre Ayew's attempted header.

Three minutes later, the host killed the dream of Anderlecht coming back with the second goal. Valbuena, the scorer, this time turned the assist provider as he capitalised on the defensive error of the visitors. He cooly passed to Michael Frey who slotted it home neatly.
The results sends Fenerbahce to second as Dynamo Zagreb square off with Trnava later.
