The Black Stars will likely miss the services of midfielder Andre Ayew who is recovering from injury in a crucial World Cup qualification against Egypt in Alexandria on November 13.

Ayew, who has been injured since the beginning of the season, is set to return to full action in December.

News of Ayew’s absence will come as a blow to Coach Avram Grant who desperately needs a positive result against Egypt.

It comes after the Cranes of Uganda held Ghana to 0-0 draw in Tamale.

Ayew is expected to start light training on Sunday with his scheduled return  fixed for the latter part of November and crucially early December where the Hammers will play tough games against Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
