A 90th minute strike from Olivier Giroud has denied Manchester United a win over Arsenal in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Juan Mata scored a terrific goal give Manchester a lead in the 68th minute but Giroud cancelled it out for his side in the dying minutes of the game.

Mata was put through on goal by Ander Herrera in the 68th minute and Mata fired pass Petr Cech who was in superb form all afternoon.

Mourinho was hoping to get the best laugh over his rival Arsene Wenger till a superb play from Giroud ensured they stole the three points from United.

Mata also scored his third goal of the season and run into the crowd in celebration and received a yellow card but was unperturbed as the goal stood.

Petr Cech was in superb form for Arsenal as they managed to hold Manchester United to a goalless draw at half time but was finally beaten by former teammate Mata.

Wenger would be cursing his stars as has once again been denied a win over Mourinho despite playing a better football and enjoying much of the possession on the day.

Both teams gave out their best especially in the second half and the draw seem to be a fair result though both coaches wish it had gone their way.

Manchester United are sixth on the league table with 19 points while Arsenal are third with 25 points.

Wayne Rooney replaced Anthony Martial but still struggled to make an impact and would still be looking forward to scoring two goals to beat Bobby Chalton to become the all time highest scorer for Manchester United.
