Asante Kotoko have rejected the resignation letter tendered in by the head of Administration and Legal Affairs of the club lawyer, Samuel Sarfo Duku.
Lawyer Samuel Safu Duku on Monday morning resigned from his position as a management member on personal grounds.
In a letter addressed to the chairman of the Porcipnes, Safu Duku said "This is to humbly inform you that effective today, the 11th day of November, 2019, I have resigned as a member of the club's management team in charge of administration and legal affairs. This is a firm decision, please."
"I am grateful to you for giving me the opportunity to serve the greatest club of our time."
"I wish you and the club the best in all endeavours."

However, the latest development is that the Porcupines have declined Safro Duku's resignation and wants him to state the reasons he plans on stepping down from his position.
"Asante Kotoko management reject Sarfo Duku's resignation. We will officially come out but after our meeting today, management have decided to reject his resignation, we want to know why this decision," deputy Operation’s manager for Asante Kotoko Nana Kwame Dankwah told Oyerepa FM"
