Atalanta shock Kwadwo Asamoah's Inter Milan in Serie A

Kwadwo Asamoah's Inter Milan lost heavily 4-1 to Atalanta B.C. on Sunday in the Italian Serie A.

Asamoah started for the Nerrazurri as their seven-match winning streak was ended at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.
 
The home side opened the scoring in the early stage of the game, in the 8th minute, Hateboer at the far post tapped home following a wonderful low cross by Gosens.

The Nerrazuris piled pressure and were awarded a penalty after Gianluca Mancini handball. The skipper of the visitors, Mauro Icardi struck home into the bottom right corner to level it up before the break.

Inter Milan seemed to be in control of the game until Mancini Gianluca restored the lead of the home side 62nd before Djimsiti added the third in the 88th minute.

It got worse for Luciano Spalletti's side as the Croatian international, Marcelo Brozović was sent off in injury-time before Gomez Alejandro drifted inside and curled in a perfect finish into the right corner to put the icing on the cake for the host.

Inter Milan after the result, dropped to 3rd place on the Serie A league table with 25 points.
