The annual Atta Mills Hockey tournament has been scheduled for the 29th of July at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey pitch in Accra.
The tournament has been in inception since 2013 and its played in honour of the late President Mills who passed on in 2012.
It is set to begin at 7 am with several hockey teams in the country expected to take part in the tournament.
The Atta Mills care in partnership with the Ghana Hockey Association are the Organizers.
The late President Mills was once a hockey player. He played an instrumental role in the construction of the country’s only hockey stadium to enable Ghana to host the 9th Hockey Cup of Nations successfully in 2009.
