The Bayana Bayana of South Africa will crush with Nigeria's Super Falcons in the final of the 2018 Africa Women Cup Of Nations (AWCON) after beating the Female Eagles of Mali 2-0.

Two goals from the tournament's top scorer Chrestinah Kgatlana and Lebohang Ramalepe at the Cape Coast stadium ensured that  Coach Desiree Ellies and her side book their ticket for the finals of the tournament.

The win ensures that South Africa qualifies for their ever World Cup in France in June 2019 to represent Africa.

The two-time finalists dominated the game and they had the Malians on the ropes several times and convert their chances.

In the 31sh minute Thembi Kgatlana latched on to a lob from the Mali half and rifled home a shot, which the Malian keeper, Konate had no answer.

Cameroon who were earlier today defeated by Nigeria will lock horns with Mali in the third-place match with the winner claiming the last World Cup spot out of Africa.

South Africa will meet Nigeria in the finals of the 2018 African Women Cup Of Nations at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, November 1 as this will be the two sides second meeting in the tournament with South Africa defeating their Nigerian counterparts 1-0 in a group B opener.
