Barcelona have increased their offer for Willian to close to £60million including add-ons.

Maurizio Sarri would like to keep the 29-year-old Brazilian but the lure of the Catalan giants is too strong.

Premier League rivals Manchester United have also yet to be ruled out as Chelsea allow the price to go up.
Willian insisted speculation over a move to Spain would not distract him from Brazil's World Cup campaign in Russia.

When asked about linking up with Coutinho at the Nou Camp, he said: 'Well, they are excellent players with a lot of quality. In addition to great players, they are very good friends.

'People speculate a lot. We see a lot of things on the internet, but this is not the time to talk about this. I've not received any information about that. I'm trying to focus on my performance, playing for Brazil.'

Brazil were subsequently knocked out of the competition by Belgium, which has paved the way for the Spanish giants to up their pursuit of the Blues winger.

Willian cut a frustrated figure under Conte at times. He started only 20 Premier League matches for Chelsea in the 2017-18 season, featuring as a substitute on a further 16 occasions.
