Betway Ghana, sponsors of Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold has on Wednesday unveiled the new kits for the club for the 2016/2017 season during a ceremony in Accra.
The colourful home and away jerseys were unveiled and exhibited by some players of the club as they look forward to the start of the season.
The home jersey combined the usual colours of the club, black and yellow while the away jersey is predominantly black and white with green as the goalkeeper’s jersey.
According to Marketing Manager at Betway, Kwabena Oppong Nkrumah, the outfit recognizes the club as one of the most successful clubs in the country and wish to collaborate and be part of other success stories to come.
He added that the club also have one of the best facilities in the country and has over the years produced great players for the country.
“As we unveil the new kits,we are hopeful that the new kits would go a long way to help the club win this season’s Premier league,â€he stated.
Betway be said would do well to support the club with technical, branding and finance to ensure that they excel in the upcoming season and beyond.
Chief Executive Officer of AshGold, Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo expressed appreciation to the outfit for the support and certain it would help the club reach greater heights.
He added that, Betway has signed a two-year renewable deal with the club and it would propel the club to become stronger and bigger.
“The is a journey of great success that could be liken to the partnership between English Premiership side West Ham and Betway,â€he stated.
The financial infusion into the club by Betway he said would compel AshGold to be in a better position as they are now a rejuvenated side.
