The Black Queens of Ghana held the Super Falcons of Nigeria to a one all drawn game at the ongoing African Women Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The Falcons who went into the game as favorites drew first blood and possessed majority of the game but the resolute Queens fought and equalized to share the spoils.
Florence Omagbemi’s ladies failed to take their as they threatened the area of the Queens on several occasions but failed to find the back of the net.
The defending champions usually fall to Ghana when they meet at the group stages but ensure they win when the two meet at the finals.
Perhaps, it was the same reason they failed to win in their second group game against Ghana as they hope for another final to defend their title.
Both teams are now on four points though Nigeria will go on top after winning 6-0 in their first game while Ghana won 3-1.
