The Black Queens of Ghana have suffered their first defeat in the pre-2018 Africa Women's Cup of Nations friendly on Saturday against Zambia.

The Black Queens, astonishingly, bottled away two goals as they lost 3-2 to Zambia in the international friendly.

Portia Boakye scored the opener and Elizabeth Addo cushioned the lead for the visitors before the break.

However, Kundananji after the break found the net twice to restore parity and went on to find snatch the match winner for the She-polopolo of Zambia, thereby completing her hat-trick.

The defeat has brought a lot of scepticism as to whether the Queens can 'host and win" the Africa Women's Cup of Nations.

Coach Bashiru Hayford’s side will depart Zambia for Kenya where they will face the Harambee Starlets before returning to Ghana to play South Africa.

Ghana will square off against Algeria in the opening match of the competition on Saturday, November 17 at the Accra Stadium
