The GFA Normalisation Committee has handed Asante Kotoko and Medeama the permission to participate in the Africa Inter-club competitions but on a condition.

The Committee is demanding the information about the financial status of both clubs before fully granting the permission for their participation.

Atinka Total Sports reported, "the Normalization committee grants Asante Kotoko the permission to represent Ghana in Africa but they must provide information about their financial status."

The Normalization Committee confirmed earlier that there will be no representatives from Ghana in the CAF club competition next year in a meeting with owners and administrators of Premier League and Division One clubs.

Days after the consensus, Kotoko petitioned the Normalization Committee to permit them to participate in next season’s CAF confederations cup as winners of the last FA cup competition.

The Porcupine Warriors CEO, George Amoako has claimed that the club is financially stable and prepared for CAF Confederations Cup participation.
