Former Black Stars captain C.K Akunnor has questioned the attitude of the Black Stars players in their 1-0 defeat to Kenya.

Ghana were stunned by a spirited Kenyan side as their beat the Black Stars 1-0 in Nairobi in the 2019 Afcon qualifiers.

The Black Stars played lackadaisically in the opening half of the game which allowed the Kenyans to capitalize and find the all-important goal.

"The attitude of the players was not right, if you look at the seriousness they attached to their game in the second half, it was better than the first 25 minutes of the game".

"You can blame them but not much because these were the same guys who played our recent friendly games," he told Asempa FM.

The Black Stars were stunned by a first-half own goal from Nicholas Opoku and will need to win their next qualifier against Sierra Leone in October to get back on track.
