Asante Kotoko head coach CK Akonnor reveals he frets due to the yet-to-be-named Cameroonian opponent in the preliminary round of the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup.

The Porcupine Warriors are waiting for the winner of the 2018 Cameroon Cup final between Lion Blesse and Eding Sport in a final on Sunday, November 25.

With the date for Confederations Cup, preliminary stage matches set for the November 27/ 28 and December 4/5, 

According to the gaffer of the Porcupine Warriors, he feels worried following his inability to map a strategic plan for the opponent as it is still uncertain.

“We have the videos of the two Cameroonian clubs who are playing in the finals. As at now, we don’t know our opponents.

“We are worried because we need to know more about our opponents. Once we know them we can start to plan. We hoping to know them by the end of the week”

Asante Kotoko is the only representative of Ghana on the African continent as Medeama pulled out following financial constraint.
