Asante Kotoko coach Kjetil Zachariassen is confident of victory over Etoile du Sahel as he looks to qualify his outfit to the next phase of the CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors put up a resilient performance as they eased past the Tunisian side with a 2-0 victory at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Goals from Augustine Okrah and Richard Arthur boosted the Reds chances of making the group phase of the CAF Champions League.
Speaking ahead of the second leg this week, the former AshantiGold trainer says it is not an uphill task for his side to go to the North African side home ground and book qualification.
“I always go into matches with the intention to win the match, that's our goal now, we want to go to Tunisia to win," he told Oyerepa FM.
“We will try to win the match. There’s no injury now apart from those sidelined before we started the competition like Maxwell Baakohâ€.
Each Asante Kotoko player will pocket US$ 2,000 if they eliminate Etoile du Sahel to reach the Group stage of CAF Champions League.
Egyptian officials
The Confederation of African Football, CAF have appointed all Egyptian officials to handle the 2nd leg clash of the Champions League decider between Etoile du Sahel against Asante Kotoko.
Egyptian referee Ibrahim Nour El-Din has been tasked to be the officiate the tie which comes off on September 27 at the Stade Olympique de Sousse.
The 40-year-old will be assisted compatriots Tahssen Abo El Jadat Bedyer and Ahmed Hossameldin Taha as assistant one and two respectively.
Mohammed Adel Elsaid Hussein will be the fourth official whilst Sudanese Mamoun Bushara Nasir will serve as the match commissioner.
