Chelsea moved to fourth and within a point of the Premier League summit with an 2-0 victory over Southampton at St Mary’s.

Man of the match, Eden Hazard opened the scoring from a tight angle on six minutes, before Diego Costa's  stunner in the 55th minute left Southampton keeper, Fraser Forster hapless.

The win gave Chelsea their fourth victory in their last four league games under Antonio Conte's newly deployed 3-4-3 system

Southampton have been in decent form over the past few games but they were shut out by Chelsea's organised back line and they could nof really test Chelsea keeper, Thibaut Courtois.
