Asante Kotoko head coach CK Akonnor has revealed his desire to add make more signings to his current squad despite the enormous purchase.
The Porcupine Warriors have revamped their squad with eleven (11) new players ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup competition which begins in November.
However, according to the former AshantiGold gaffer, he would relish the signings of a couple of players especially expatriates following the local clubs reluctance to sell players.

"I would be elated if we can get some of the local players that we've targeted but most of the clubs are unwilling to release them. That is why we intend to look outside. That is also very risky because you wouldn't know much about the player. But we're working on it. And I think by the close of the transfer timeline we'll get a good outcome," he ended.
The Kumasi-based club are preparing in Takoradi ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup campaign.
