Ghanaian sprinter Hor Halutie finished 8th in the Women's 100m finals at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia.

Hor Halutie finished with a time of 11.54sec with Trinidad and Tobago sprinter Michelle-Lee Ahye claiming the first spot.

This means Michelle-Lee Ahye wins the gold medal as she clocked a time of 11.14sec.

Jamaica's Christiania Williams and Gayon Evans take silver and bronze respectively.

Williams made a time of 11.21 and Evans clocked 11.22.

19-year old Hor Halutie could not improve on his semifinal performance where she made 11.46sec.

Hor Halutie hails from the Upper East region and she is a former student of T.I. Ahmaddiya Secondary School in Kumasi.
