Former TP Mazembe midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei together with Former WAFA captain John Antwi has been spotted training with Asante Kotoko at Adako Jachie on Monday 29, October 2018.
Nii Adjei has been without a club after mutually parting ways with Moroccan side Wayad AC.

The 29-years-old expressed interest of reuniting with the Kumasi based club earlier this month after holding talks with the club officials.

Adjei might be inking a deal with the Porcupine Warriors should he impress the club technical handlers in the coming days.

Adjei had a successful spell at Congolese side TP Mazembe where he won the Congolese top-flight league, CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup and the Super Cup during his five-year stay.

However, the former West African Football Academy skipper John Antwi has also begun training with the Porcupine Warriors.

The 24-year-old is undergoing a trial and could sign a contract with the club should he impress Coach CK Akonnor.

He has been without a club after terminating his contract with Egyptian second-tier side FC Masr.

He joined the Egyptian club on a two-year deal earlier this year after a short stint with Ghanaian top-flight club Inter Allies.

Antwi made 11 appearances for Inter Allies during the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League season.

Asante Kotoko have already signed Kwame Bonsu, Abass Mohammed and Senegalese international Naby Keita ahead of their 2019 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
