Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan has denied reports that there is a rift between him and his deputy, Andre 'Dede' Ayew.
There have been constant calls Gyan to be stripped of the captaincy for Ayew to take over since some Ghanaians believe he has superior leadership qualities.
These calls, have been cited as the cause of the crack in the relationship between the duo.
But according to Ghana's all-time top scorer, "Andre has been my friend since he joined the national team. I don't have a problem with him".
Speaking in an interview, the on loan Al Ahli striker said the reports were just the imagination of people who just try to "bring rivalry between two stars in the team".
He called for a stop to reports of any such rivalry "because when you do that, that is where it brings conflicts to team which is not good for the team."Â
