In-form Ghana and Swansea City striker Jordan Ayew has been sent off in their English Premier League game against Huddersfield Town.

Jordan Ayew recieved a straight red from referee Micheal Oliver in the 10th minute after a challenge on Huddersfield player Jonathan Hogg.

The tackle which was deemed reckless by the referee left Hogg seriously injured and was unable to continue the game.

Jordan Ayew will miss Swansea's next three Premier League games

This means Jordan will miss Swansea's next three games which are an FA Cup game against Tottenham Hotspurs, and two Premier League games Manchester United and West Bromwich Albion.

Ayew has been Swansea's most in-form player this season scoring a total of six goals in the process.

He has been voted Swansea player of the month twice this year.
