Watford were unable to extend their 100 per cent start to the season, as Manchester United left Vicarage Road with a 2-1 win.

Manchester United produced arguably their most complete performance of the season as they beat Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road to end their hosts' 100 per cent start to the campaign.

Romelu Lukaku opened the scoreline for Manchester United using part of his body to tap the ball home in the 35th minute.

Chris Smalling doubled the lead for the visitors with a fine volley from Fellaini's header to ensure that, the Red Devils end the first half with a two-goal cushion.

Watford piled pressure on Manchester United in the second half but Degea always available with saves for the Red Devils.

The Hornets had to wait till the 65th minute to pull one back with a wonderful finish from Andre Gray after beautifully set up by Doucoure.

Watford threw everything at the Red Devils but none of their attempts yielded results as Manchester United go the job done in the first half.
