Friendly: Waris, Atsu in Black Stars line up for Kotoko game

The senior national team lined up a friendly game against Asante Kotoko after their AFCON qualifying match against Sierra Leone was cancelled due to a FIFA ban on the West African country.

The friendly is expected to give the technical team an opportunity to assess some players as Ghana prepares for the remaining qualifying games for next year's competition.

Kotoko's goalkeeper Felix Annan will face his club team mates as he starts in post for the Black Stars in this afternoon's game.

Jonathan Mensah and John Boye will form the central defensive pair with Lumor and Andy Yiadom on the left and right side of defence respectively.

Italy based Afriyie Acquah, Isaac Sackey and Benard Mensah will be in midfield with Christian Atsu and Nana Ampomah on the flanks.

Abdul Majid Warris will start in attack for Ghana in the match which will kick off at 4:30pm.
