Ghana Black Princesses draw 2-2 with France

The national female U-20 team the Black Princesses drew 2-2 with France in their second game of the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup at Papau New Guinea.

The Princesses lost 1-0 to New Zealand in their first game on Monday but put up a better performance against France but once again was punished by a late equalizer.

The match was one all after the first half but the Princesses came back strongly in the second half and got a goal through Jane Ayieyam who got ahead of a France defender before firing into the back of the net.

The Princesses could have scored more missed a penalty in the 80th minute and later allowed Clara Mateo to head home the equalizer in the 94th minute.

The Princesses are currently last on the group table with just a point and would play their final game against USA who would be playing New Zealand later.
