Ghana falls to 53rd in November FIFA Rankings

Ghana has dropped four places in the latest FIFA Rankings to place ninth in Africa. 

The Black Stars' slip comes after their 2-0 loss to Egypt in the 2018 World Cup Group E qualifiers at the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria and are currently ranked 53rd in the world with Egypt climbing ten places to the 36th position and Number 4 in Africa.

Senegal is the highest ranked African team placing 33rd in the world.

Argentina and Brazil are first and second respectively in the latest ranking with World Champions Germany occupying the third slot.
