The Ghana Black Stars have retained their position as the final FIFA ranking has been released today.
Ghana would end the year on 53rd position in the world and ninth in Africa on the Latest FIFA ranking for December.
Ghana went down eight places in the world ranking to 53rd position and four places to ninth in the Africa last month and maintained the same position for this month.
The drop was as a result of a couple of bad performances in the World Cup qualifications.
Argentina maintained its position as the best team in the world, followed by Brazil, Germany, Chile and Belgium in that order.
