Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak both lost their respective Ghana Premier League matchday five games played on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

Hearts who faced Berekum Chelsea at Berekum were undone by three second-half goals and have now conceded 7 goals in five matches played so far in the Ghana Premier League.

Kotoko were also defeated by League leaders Ashantigold at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors were confident going into this fixture after they recorded a win in their last visit to Obuasi.

Two second-half goals from Samed Ibrahim and Mumuni Shaffiu ensured Ashantigold stay on top of the League.
