Week three matches of the Ghana Premier League were played as Kumasi Asante Kotoko lost 1-0 to Medeama at the T&A park in Tarkwa.

The game which was threatened by a heavy dampour saw both sides having limited chances as they were unable to break the deadlock in the first half.

It was Madeama who had the final say after a last minute penalty was converted by Kwame Boateng to hand them all three points.

In other matches, WAFA continued their dominace at Sogakope as they beat Ghana Premier League champions Aduana 2-0. Two goals from Nuhu Musa and Mohammed Aminu was enough to hand WAFA all three points.

AshantiGold also continued their fine form as they picked up their third win in a roll with a 1-0 win over Kerala.
