Ghana’s Black Maidens walloped Morocco 4-0 in the first leg of the 2016 FIFA Under-17 World Cup qualifier at the Complexe Sportif Moulay Al Hassan in Rabat on Saturday.

Two-goal hero Mukarama Abdulai opened the scoring for Ghana in the 3rd minute before Rafiatu Alhassan fired the ball past goalkeeper Hasnae Ouhatte in the 14th minute to record the Maidens’ second goal.

Abdulai completed her brace in the 21st minute to hand Ghana a 3-0 lead at half-time. Back from recess, Coach Evans Adotey’s side punished the Moroccans profligacy in front of goal after Sandra Ansah scored in the 70th minute to seal a 4-0 lead from the first leg.

Ghana will be hoping for another positive result from the reverse fixture in Accra on the weekend of March 25-27 to qualify for the 2016 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan this September.
