Ghanaian winger Frank Acheampong scored three goals to help his club Tianjin Teda beat Tianjin Quanjian 3-2 in a Chinese Super League game.

The game which was played on Sunday, March 18, 2018, saw the Ghanaian who started as a centre-forward score his first hat-trick since arriving at the club last year.

Frank Acheampong opened the scoring for Teda in the 16th minute after being set up by former Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi.

Tianjin Teda held on a 1-0 advantage until halftime. The second half came to live in the 54th minute as Brazil international Alexandre Pato levelled the scores for Quanjian.

Quanjian who were the away team went ahead for the first time in the game in the 78th minute through Anthony Modeste.

Teda had to find a way back into the game and Mikel again laid a pass for Acheampong as he grabbed his second goal to make it 2-2 in the 84th minute.

Acheampong had the final say in the game as he struck his third goal in the 90th minute to give Tianjin Teda all three points.

Tianjin Teda are currently 8th in the Chinese Super League.
