The spokesperson for FIFA/CAF liaison team, Dan Kweku Yeboah has revealed that the government is in the process of settling the salaries of GFA staffs.

It had been reported earlier that GFA workers have opposed the government attempt to pay their salaries after a meeting was held at M-Plaza Hotel in Accra on Monday, July 9th because they wanted to know whether they are still employees of the FA or they have been laid off.

However, Francis Oti-Akenteng who is a member of the liaison team for Ghana Football rubbished those reports.

"It is untrue, Ghana football Association staffs have not rejected attempts by the government to pay their salaries for June,” Akenteng told Sikka FM.

Dan Kweku Yeboah who is the spokesperson of the two-man committee stated emphatically and reiterated that the government is in the process of receiving the details to settle the salaries of GFA workers.

"Last night, the government ensured our protection which led us to retrieve GFA’s hard drive from the CID.

"The accountant of the football association is preparing the salaries for government to settle all GFA workers” - Dan Kweku Yeboah, spokesperson for FIFA/ CAF liaison team."
