'He's here': Kotoko announce capture of Richard Boadu from Medeama

Asante Kotoko have announced that they have added secured the signing of Richard Boadu from Medeama.

The highly-rated Boadu penned a three-year deal until 2024.

He was outstanding for the Yellow and Mauves lads even during the absence of Justice Blay, having cemented the holding role.

Boadu return to Ghana few days ago after his move to Serbian SuperLiga giants FK Partizan Belgrade hit fell through.

Boadu made 24 league appearances, scoring a goal which came against Asante Kotoko in their Ghana Premier League match-week 21 in the just-ended campaign.

Kotoko are currently one of the busiest sides in the transfer market, having already signed former Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey, Maxwell Agyemang of Wamanfo Mighty Royals FC, Clinton Opoku from Phar Rangers, Samuel Boateng from Future Stars, Isaac Oppong from Bectero Sassana FC, Samuel Appiah from Medeama and Augustine Agyapong from Delsanco FC.

Meanwhile, fixtures for the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League campaign have been released. The new season starts on October 29.

Kotoko last week commenced pre-season ahead of the new season.
