Hearts of Oak have established an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee the affairs of the club following the resignation of Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah.

The decision was announced by the club’s Board of Directors on Friday, September 11, as Hearts begin the process of appointing a new management team.

The five-member committee will be chaired by former Ghana FA Chairman Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe and will be responsible for steering the club’s affairs during the transition.

Mr Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom has been assigned responsibility for Finance, while Mr Akwasi Agyemang will oversee Operations.

Hon Vincent Sowah Odotei has been named in charge of Administration, with National Chapters Committee (NCC) Chairman Alhaji Yusif Abdulai responsible for Mobilization.

The Board said the committee has been put in place to ensure continuity while the club searches for a permanent management team.

“The Board of Directors wishes to assure all stakeholders that it is taking all steps necessary to ensure that the Club continues its pursuit of pre-eminence not just in the country but continentally,” the statement said.

The development follows Emunah’s resignation as Managing Director earlier this week, bringing his seven-month tenure at the club to an end.
