Accra Hearts of Oak have officially parted ways with head coach Frank Nuttall after just a year in charge of the club.

The former Zamalek trainer was suspended indefinitely last week for ‘’unsporting and unethical behavior’’ with a three-member committee instituted to investigate his dealings.

The committee after their findings established that the Scottish trainer is behind the player’s refusal to extend their contract with the club and ''aiding and introducing players of the club to agents'' on the blind side of the Phobians.

Henry Wellington, the assistant coach will act as the interim coach.

Nuttall penned down a two-year deal to become manager of Hearts of Oak last year.

In his debut season, he finished in the top four and guided the Phobians to their first FA Cup final in over a decade but they missed winning the FA Cup to bitter rival Asante Kotoko.

He also led the team to the finals of the 2018 GHALCA G8 tournament but lost the trophy to Dreams FC.

Frank Nuttall told to refund US$ 56,000 to Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak are demanding US$ 56,000 from sacked coach Frank Nuttall as 'illegal'' monies pocketed from the transfer of some of their players, according to reports.

This was after the Scotsman was found guilty of transferring some Hearts players without the knowledge of the club.

According to a leaked report of the three-member committee set up to look into the unethical behavior of the coach, it revealed that Nuttall was paid US$ 50,000 and US$ 6,000 respectively from the transfer of two unnamed players.
