Athletic Bilbao forward Iñaki Williams has opted to play for the Spanish national team instead of the Black Stars of Ghana.

Iñaki Williams is born to a Ghanaian father and a Liberian mother in Spain on June,15,1994.

This has granted the 24-year-old the eligibility to play for any of the three countries at senior level despite his appearance at the youth stage for Spain.

According to the Athletico Bilbao forward, his parents have met Ghana coaching staff but he will choose to play for Spain because the country has given him 'everything'.

Iñaki Williams has not registered a single cap for the Spanish National Team. The closest he came was being named as one of the 11 stand-by players by then Spain coach Vicente del Bosque at the UEFA Euro 2016.
