Isaac Dogboe has lost his WBO Super Bantamweight title to Mexican boxer Emanuel Navarette.
He lost the title on Saturday December 8, 2018 in New York.The loss came via a unanimous decision from the judges who scored it 115-113, 116-122, 115-113 in favour of the Mexican.
Dogboe who went into the bout as champion could not stand Navarette's punches and power in the earlier rounds.
He responded with some good display but failed to properly bother Navarette . The trend continued even though Dogboe was very lively in the later rounds .
The Mexican's reach and power punching opened up cuts around his eyes to the point that the Ghanaian could not open his eyes properly in the 12th round.
After the bout it was clear Navarette had beaten Dogboe.
