Kevin-Prince Boateng scored one of the goals of the season for Las Palmas in their La Liga defeat to Villarreal on Sunday.
The goal though was not enough to avoid a 2-1 defeat, was adjudged the goal of the week despite several other impressive goals scored by the likes of Lionel Messi and Luiz Suarez of Barcelona.
The well-travelled player showed his worth by acrobatically finding the back of the net after a superb back-heel from Tana.
Boateng flung himself in the air and found the bottom corner with an outstanding improvised finish.
A typical Real Madrid and Barcelona stylish goal but this time Las Palmas also proved that they could score excellent goals with Boateng as the architect-in-chief.
Ghanaian players seem to have enjoyed a good weekend for their sides as the likes of Yaw Yeboah, John Boye and Asamoah Gyan were all on target for their teams.
