Kevin-Prince Boateng is still knocking hard on the doors of the Black Stars with a splendid form after scoring in Las Palmas’ 3-1 win over Athletic Bilbao on Monday night.

The 29-year-old was on target for the Canary Islanders but was replaced after the break after suffering a leg injury.

But his outstanding form could tempt a call-up into the Black Stars for the AFCON in January considering the fact that he has already expressed interest in returning into the team.

Kevin and two other players, Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari were the casualties after the fall-out in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Boateng has enjoyed a great start to his time in the Spanish La Liga where he has resurrected his once fledgling career after being released by Schalke 04 at the end of last season.

If form is anything to go by, then Boateng could be heading back into the Black Stars though pundits have raised serious questions about his return.

Most people feel he is an opportunist who should never be accepted into the Black Stars.
