Kumasi Asante Kotoko drew 1-1 with Accra Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara stadium in their much talked about Premier league encounter

The cagey encounter saw a goalless draw in the first half but Hearts of Oak drew first blood in the second half in the 59th minute through  Kwame Kizito.

The game looked to be heading towards a Hearts victory until Kotoko were awarded a penalty in the 85th after the ball looked to have struck the arm of Hearts midfielder Leonard Tawiah.

Saddick Adams stepped up and cooly slotted the ball past Ben Mensah in post to tie the game at 1-1.

It was an intense final 5 minutes and Adams should have won the game for Kotoko after having just the goalkeeper to beat but missed narrowly to the surprise of many.

The game eventually ended in a stalemate,
