Policy analyst for Asante Kotoko, Yaw Amo Sarpong has revealed that his outfit has sought out contract negotiations with the club's players that were due.
According to him, the Dr Kwame Kyei led-management has re-structured the way contract negotiations of players are handled and they have renewed contract of players that were due.
He says players of Asante Kotoko do not have a problem when it comes to monetary issues and they are being motivated well enough.
Speaking on Kessben FM, he said management of the club has been proactive when it comes to contract renewal of players and players summoned for contract negotiations salaries are doubled, which is unprecedented. He added that the new contract salaries which were supposed to take effect a year later take effect immediately.
"We have paid all the players so we don't owe anyone. We have renewed contract of some players. Such players have had their salaries more than doubled" said Yaw Amo Sarpong.
"We haven't given the players any Special bonuses. They have received the usual bonus of 500 dollars each.Â
