Ghana Premier League giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko have extended their agreement with telecommunication company, MTN as their headline sponsor.
Though details of the new contract are yet to be made public, Kotoko is expected to receive GHC70,000 every month, according to kickgh.com.
"We have signed a new deal with them [MTN] and they will pay us GHC70,000 monthly", they quoted an unnamed source as saying.
Another telco, Vodafone Ghana were reported to have shown in interest taking over from their main rivals as Kotoko's main sponsor after the initial three-year agreement between the parties expired some few months ago but it looks like MTN upped their offer.Â
