Prosper Narteh Ogum has described their game against Hearts of Oak as a 'wonderful one' adding that they are going to stay focused and improve in the second phase.

The Porcupine Warriors shared spoils with their arch and sworn rivals Hearts of Oak after a goalless drawn game at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Ogum stated that Kotoko played so well and created some goal-scoring opportunities but fluffed their lines.

He added that they are to remain focused and do away with complacency in the second round, assuring Kotoko fans of an upgrade in their performance than what they observed in the first round.
"It was a wonderful performance from my side, we looked very compact, we played some good possession in the middle of the park and created a few chances we should have scored but couldn't convert them," Prosper Narteh said.

"Coming on the road to play in the manner we played I think is good for them, the team and our confidence."

"That's how the game is sometimes, if you get the chances and you don't convert them and sometimes you lose, sometimes too it ends in a stalemate even though we have been scoring 2, 3 in previous games but is ok."

"We will step up our performance in the second round. Where we have gotten to if you look at the way they played, there is a lot of quality and talent in the players so we going to step up and I'm sure we will play better in the second round. We have another round of 17 games to play so is not over. We need to stay focused, we don't have to be complacent and that's what we have been doing from day one."
Asante Kotoko have wrapped up the first round as the best side having finished at the summit of the league log with 37 points.
