AC Milan reject, Kevin-Prince Boateng became the only Ghana international to have scored in the four major football leagues in Europe after he scored on his debut in the Spanish La Liga as his team Las Palmas defeated Valencia 4-2 on Monday night.

The Ghana international signed for Las Palmas as their marquee signing after a disappointing second spell with the Italian side last season and has warmed himself to coach Quique Setien during their training sessions.

Boateng who was handed a start was vital as they took a commanding lead and it took him only 31 minutes to justify his coach's confidence in him by heading in Nabil El Zahr's cross to make it 3-1.

After playing in some of the top leagues in the world for Hertha Berlin, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, AC Milan (twice) and Schalke, Boateng moved to Spain on a one-year contract with Las Palmas this summer.

His goal yesterday means he has scored in the English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, german Bundesliga and the Italian Serie A.
